Now It’s Time to Celebrate Pasta!
Who doesn’t love pasta?! This versatile comfort food is an excellent dinner option for picky families. This October 17, celebrate National Pasta Day by sharing some noodles with your family.
National Pasta Day is celebrated every year on October 17. In a survey conducted by The National Today data science team, 1,000 people were asked about their pasta-eating habits. Of these 1,000 people, 75 percent said they eat pasta at least twice a week, and one in 20 people said they eat pasta every single day! Only 2.8 percent of surveyed individuals said they never eat pasta, and 25 percent said their favorite noodle is spaghetti.
When ordering a pasta dish, you can select a red sauce (marinara or bolognese), a green sauce (pesto), or a white sauce (Alfredo). In The National Today survey, 51.95 percent of people said the red sauce was their sauce of choice. The white sauce came in second place, earning 43.72 percent of the vote. Finally, 4.32 percent of people say the green sauce is their ideal choice.
Do you have a craving for pasta yet? This October 17, make sure to make your way to Old Town Pizzeria to enjoy our pasta menu.
